ORCHID Promotion is what happens when a hard-touring musician and one-time English major pairs her passion for amazing music with her affinity for well-crafted press releases & one-sheets and finally puts her degree to good use (you’re welcome mom). A few years of touring full-time led to discovering a slew of creative and interesting projects constantly popping up in clubs and local music scenes across the country, and precipitated introductions to a bevy of critics, journalists, bloggers, photographers, and all sorts of excitable music lovers.

ORCHID is my contribution to bridging these parties, to playing a role in multiplying the efforts of all involved, to being a cog in this slick, messy and wonderful machine that at its best propels culture forward and at the very least is an entertaining diversion. As a performer, I have witnessed how talent and hard work – recording quality material and touring one’s ass off to deliver stellar performances – are only the beginning. These efforts are exponentially increased by well-placed press that informs potential fans about the incredible shows and albums that they have the opportunity to experience.
