ELEKIBASS BIOGRAPHY

Elekibass started in 1998.

Regular members are SAKAMOTO (Vocal) and JP (Guitar). They are sometimes accompanied by piano, clarinet, and trombone.

The music manners of the 60s, and a pop music feeling of Japan.

The U.S. tour was carried out together with the “of Montreal” in 2001.

6 times of U.S. tour have been carried out since then.

These tour did with “of Montreal” “63crayons” “Casper & the cookies” “Keith John Adams(U.K)” “Velcro stars”. And Athens, GA(HHBTM records) is an activity base in the U.S.

Elekibass performs several times at Athens Popfest.

Show is published to Washington Post. The journalist of BBC extols.

It is the show colorfully and pop!!

Of course in Japan, Elekibass is large activity.
Elekibass has friendship with Robert Schneider of Elephant6/Apples in Stereo.
