BIOGRAPHY
Extravision is the solo and collaborative music project of Des Moines, IA resident Ryan Stier (The River Monks, Annalibera). Blending sparkling 12-string guitar, synthesized drone loops, drum machines, and warm electric guitar, Stier lays a meditational bed for dynamic stream of consciousness lyrics focused on death, overcoming fears, and beautiful simplicities.

Extravision is an intentionally malleable music project. The project was originally conceived as a psychedelic rock band influenced by groups like Steve Miller Band and The War On Drugs, and has appeared as a washy, synth-heavy psychfolk trio. You may see Stier performing solo meditational folk songs in DIY settings such as living rooms, sanctuaries, candlelit magic stone shops and art galleries.
