Fabricoh Magazine reviews Borrowed Beams of Light’s new album On The Wings Of A Bug:
On the Wings of a Bug fluctuates through different textures and approaches while consistently being catchy and easy to get into. “Songbird Bouquet” begins the album with high energy and the remaining songs continue to balance fast paced toe-taps with more mellow tones. Expect mostly riff-driven songs laced in harmonies. The lo-fi vocals are smooth and compliment the variety of guitar and keyboard styles found here. Though this record is lighthearted and fun, those who listen from beginning to end will find it has space laid out for introspection.
