VIDEO PREMIERE: The Bluegrass Situation premieres Christian Lee Hutson’s “They’re All Gonna Hate Me”

The Bluegrass Situation premieres Christian Lee Hutson’s new video “They’re All Gonna Hate Me,” the newest track from his forthcoming full length Yeah Okay, I Know!

There is something so strangely affecting about Christian Lee Hutson’s video for “They’re All Gonna Hate Me.”…The clip is packed with completely irreverent dance moves, weird camera quirks and a creeping orange tabby — all backed by a slow burning country chord progression.

SONG PREMIERE: Surviving the Golden Age premieres MR NASTI’s track “Stand Up Straight”

Surviving the Golden Age premieres MR NASTI’s new track “Stand Up Straight,” from his forthcoming sophomore full-length Truth Sound, out Sep. 23rd on Maximum Ames Records.

“Stand Up Straight” sounds like Vampire Weekend covering Peter Bjorn & John‘s “Young Folks” except without all the whistling. It really is a wonderful end of summer indie jam.

Pulse Magazine reviews MR NASTI album Truth Sound

Pulse Magazine‘s John Molseed reviews MR NASTI’s forthcoming sophomore full-length Truth Sound, out on Maximum Ames Records on September 23rd:

MR NASTI’s “Truth Sound” is an aural kaleidoscope of synth sounds and beats mixed with a little acoustic instrumentation to add soulful dynamics. Despite danceable, hooky beats, it’s the lyrics that give this album its genuine emotional wallop.
